Dabo’s Reign At Clemson Might Be Over
“I’ve never been part of a game like that”, Dabo says in a post game interview following the embarrassing loss to Duke on Labor Day. Seems like Clemson took the meaning of Labor Day a little too serious.
As a Georgia fan, I freaking love this. There’s nothing we love more than seeing Clemson go down year after year. Okay, well, seeing Alabama go down after their loss to Tennessee last year was F’ing hilarious. There was that. But seeing a Clemson gradually get worse- There’s nothing better. Especially when you have a friend that’s a die hard Clemson fan that talked crap for all those years. Well, well, well… How the tables have turned.
However, as a Dabo fan, I kinda feel like the good guy is getting beat up and we’re all kicking him while he’s down. There’s a part of me that wants him to win. I mean, who doesn’t like Dabo Swinney? The culture that he is building at Clemson is what is missing in the American homes. The values and beliefs that he is teaching is what is drawing recruits to come play for him. That is the coach that I want to root for.
But DANG that orange is UGLY! So there’s that.
